Otherwise entitled: The hills are alive…

Days thirty-three and thirty-four were spent in the charming small town of Salzburg, Austria. It’s a well-known fact that I’m slightly (ok, majorly) Sound of Music obsessed. Hence the stopover in Salzburg, a town that I absolutely fell in love with. Not only was the hostel the NICEST  I have ever stayed in, the town was adorable and the people welcoming. We walked around, seeing the major “sights” the first day and took a cheesy Sound of Music tour the second day, after which we hid out because it was a literal deluge. Below are some photos from the two days, on the first of which Choralefest was happening! Singing everywhere. Love Austria!

Absolutely loved it– am considering going back this summer, and really want to go back sometime during the Christmas season for the markets and the atmosphere. Lovely!
